Scholarship and Grant for working mothers are a Government incentive that has been initiated in order to help the nation's low paid working mothers. Many low income families in America are subsidised by social assistance. This incentive can only be beneficial to all Americans.
It stands to reason that a family being subsidised by the state is a continuous drain on the nation's reserves. This Government incentive to encourage mothers to further their education is a positive step. Low paid families get stuck in a rut, making ends meet, they get social assistance to help get by and basically are in no position to get out of that rut without help.
With a better education working mothers have a much better chance at getting a job with a higher pay grade than without one. A mother with a job can apply for one, two or several of these Scholarships and Grants for working mothers depending on her eligibility. These funds do not have to be paid back.
Although these Grants and Scholarships do not have to be repaid they are only one off payments which will be offset by the reduction in social assistance required by these low paid families to survive. With that in mind this scheme can only help the nation's economy in the long term. Especially as with better paid jobs these mothers will have more money freely available to them which they can spend on whatever they like.
